The 9K35 Strela-10, known as the SA-13 Gopher in NATO terminology, is a highly mobile, short-range surface-to-air missile system of Soviet origin. It is visually aimed and employs optical/infrared guidance. Designed for engaging low-altitude threats, such as helicopters, this system is identified by its GRAU designation "9K35".
The 9K35 Strela-10 can be accompanied by a 9S80 search radar (NATO designation "Dog Ear"), HARM code 109.
The SA-13 Gopher has been used in various conflicts, including the Angolan Civil War, Operation Desert Storm, Kosovo War, Syrian Civil War, 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict, Russian Invasion of Ukraine 2022, and Wagner Group Rebellion.
